Hello, my name is Elaine and I just joined the Community Forum. I am retired and recently moved to Irving/Dallas, Texas. T s just me and my Ride or Die” partner, Kiwi. I have used boarding and private pet sitters where I took her for the stay. She stays, but it is obvious that she is stressed during the stay. So I thought I would give this a try so she remains in her home, a place of familiarity… I am hoping to find a few dependable house sitters to stay with her whenever I travel.

Hi @Kiera1234. Welcome to TrustedHousesitters and the community forum. Pets do get stressed when they’re sent somewhere new and unknown while their pet parents are away. I’m glad you joined TrustedHousesitters. Both Kiwi and you will love it here.
One thing you might consider doing is adding a link to your listing on the main website to your forum profile. That way, our forum members will be able to take a look at it and give you ideas for tweaks you might make to it to make it even more attractive to sitters. Doing this has helped many of our new members successfully find sitters from the start.
