I’m heading over from Victoria for a cat sit near Mandurah and would love to meet up with any sitters or owners in the area for a coffee or lunch.

Well I’m in residence now but there doesn’t seem to be any other Forum members nearby to meet up. I’ll just have to soak up the beautiful view and enjoy the purring company of Paul, the cat.

Brings back beautiful memories @temba. I had a sit in Mandurah in March 2020 and two days in we went into lockdown. Owners did a mad dash back over the Nullarbor to avoid being locked out and I ended up living in the homeowners motorhome in their front yard for three months before some Western Australia zones opened up and I could move north.
One of the best experiences of my life and am great mates with and keep in regular contact with the homeowners to this day. I spent nearly every day on that beach with the owners adorable Cockapoo. Covid was not all bad times, it opened up a lot of opportunities for me personally. THS has been very good to me and I know for you also

Hey @ziggy, good to hear from you! What a wonderful place to be forced to stay in when WA went into lockdown. How fortunate those owners could return quickly and the generosity shown to you by them has certainly cemented a special friendship.
I’ll certainly enjoy my 3 weeks here. x
