Map Improvements in the app 🛠️

We’re rolling out updates to the map on the TrustedHousesitters app. It’s part of an ongoing piece of work, but there’s already a lot to share.

Once you receive the update, you’ll see that the map now refreshes as you browse, so you’re always seeing up-to-date results and you’ll also be able to see which listings you’ve already visited.

We’re rolling this out gradually over the next few weeks, so if you don’t see it yet, it’s on its way.

Map pins will continue to be based on broader locations like a town or city, and the carousel will appear once the listings are shown at the local level, this keeps things cleaner as you browse.

If you’re amongst the first members to use the improved map, click the “feedback” button in the app to let us know how you’re finding it.

Hi Mark, I did the latest app update yesterday and the map is now gone completely. Meaning that when I do a sit search, I can see and scroll down through the individual results, but the map view option/button is no longer there. Very frustrating. Hope it can be quickly restored! (This is on IOS devices btw)

I’ve developed a facial tic much like Chief Inspector Dreyfus in the Pink Panther films. It’s triggered whenever I see a new announcement in product updates,
