Hi all! Has anyone else noticed that the map in the app is no longer showing the sitting places the way it used to a few weeks ago?
Now I only see some white numbers in some cases, and they are hard to see and not always visible on the map. This makes searching through the map much more difficult, especially for those of us who use it to search directly by location.
Am I the only one finding this change really unhelpful? Do you think this is a bug, or is this the new version of the map?

I see the same issue - small white numbers on the map ( used to be a green arrow ) when you click the number all the sits disappear from the map . ( used to show up the individual sits so you could zoom in on the location that you are looking for )

Is it a known issue - already reported and when will it be fixed ?
The map doesn’t work for places in Australia. I’ve reach out to THS showing the huge discrepancies such as Bondi coming up over 5 hours away then its actual location or different places coming up when searching for Bondi, NSW, Australia.
I just get fobbed off and nothing happens.
Maybe THS only concentrate on countries UK, USA and Europe
The maps don’t work particularly well anywhere. The search as well. A New York City sit for instance will bring up locations far too distant for day trips even without the need to get back for petcare.
Hi, can you please tell us how we can report this to someone who can actually do something about it? This new map view has been terrible for weeks, and I honestly don’t believe any user finds it useful. Thank you.
Any update? This is a major issue rendering the app practically useless. I’m enclosing two screenshots, one from the browser and one from the app for the exact same search
It’s infuriating that with the number of requests, reports, & suggestions for how the core Search functionality is hindering users & needs to be fixed, that the only change we see is one that makes the system LESS useable.
If there is actually some sort of organized effort to fix or replace Search in the works, it would behoove THS product management to make users aware of it, as well as a general idea of what those improvements are and a projected timeline for rollout.
IMO, there are basically two major differentiators between this platform & its competitors: the size of the membership, & the ability to easily & efficiently locate suitable sits. The former is a direct result of the latter.
Also having this problem with the map. They seem to be “working on it.” I see there was an update to the am early this am (EST) but it didn’t fix my issue.
Misery loves company which is why I’m here. It’s good to know that it’s not just me.
