They work for us. We are at home at the moment (in Coburg) and happy to touch base with sitters from anywhere in the world that are in our 'hood!
Hi @JeanneandPhil i’m so sorry to hear about your kitty.
I have also tagged @Angela_L as I noticed your attached link doesn’t seem to be working so she can take a look at this for you when she is back online.
Hi @JeanneandPhil I have fixed your link. Thanks @Samox24 for noting.
I am also so sorry to hear about one of your cats. I hope you can still have lots of positive time with her. ![]()
17th works for me for coffee. Look forward to connecting.
I am so sorry about your kitty. It’s awful
When our furry friends get sick……
Hi everyone.
@JeanneandPhil I’m so sorry to hear about your kitty. It’s so tough when our furry companions become ill. Hugs to you during this time.
The 17th works for me too. Can we meet at 1’ish or a little later? That way we can stay wherever we meet as long as we’d like without taking up a table that’s needed by others during lunchtime. Most of the meetups I’ve participated in have gone on for several hours – not saying that we have to do that, just that it often turns out that way when we’re all sharing tips and stories.
Also, where should we meet? @JeanneandPhil and @kbyportmelb is there a part of town that might work for you both? (@Mstuart I’m guessing you’re flexible like I am, but please let us know if that’s not the case.)
I’m looking forward to seeing you all on the 17th!
CBD or Albert Park/ middle park/ st Kilda/ port Melbourne all work for me.
Sunday 17th is good for us. A pub might be a good venue as they are more amenable to people sitting around for long periods. However, I don’t know any in the St Kilda/Albert Park area. There’s bound to be some good ones though. If anyone else knows one, recommend it, or I can do some research.
Hi Karen and everyone,
Thanks for your kind words re my kitty. I appreciate it.
I start work in East Melbourne at 2pm on the 17th. Could i request that we meet earlier than 1pm?
Suggestions of places are Rocella, Kerekere Green, or Mccafe on vic parade, opposite my work.
Cheers,
Jeanne
I could meet at any of those locations but won’t be able to arrive until 11:45 or so. Feel free to grab a table and (again
)start without me.
Hi @Mstuart, @kbyportmelb, @JeanneandPhil. Given that @kbyportmelb suggested places along Hobsons Bay and @JeanneandPhil suggested places in East Melbourne, would it be easiest to meet somewhere in the middle, like in the CBD? If we meet at 11 or 11:30, would that give you time to get to work afterwards @JeanneandPhil?
I’m looking forward to our gathering!
Hi Karen and everyone
I’m sorry but I won’t be able to join you on Sunday. The YES23 campaign is having a rally and walk down Swanston St which I really want to attend.
I suspect there will be thousands of attendees so it will be a major disruption to CBD between 12 and 2pm.
Another time, perhaps.
I’ve received word that JeanneandPhil wont be able to join us either. @Mstuart and @kbyportmelb should we pick another day or evening next week? Im in town until the 22nd.
Or @kbyportmelb you and I can still meet on Sun, maybe not in the CBD.
Let me know what you prefer. Thanks!
I am pretty flexible so let me know what works
Very cool group and referendum to support @Mstuart!
