We once again had the pleasure of the company of @marce , (Marcela) and Antonio for the day yesterday. It was lovely to be able to catch up once again before our house-sitting adventures take us to different locations - we look forward to our paths hopefully crossing again in the not too distant future xx
Yesterday we had the pleasure of meeting for lunch with @Jo27 . It was a lovely afternoon sharing stories. When it was time to go we were totally inspired to add helping out in an elephant sanctuary to our list of things to must do. Thanks for your company Jo, we will definitely be in touch again the next time we are in this area x
Told you I’m no good in photos, definitely looks like I’ve had more than 1/2 pint
@Jo27 - you look great!, however, Karyo just pointed out that it looks as if he is sweating - it must be a shadow
@Alice & Patrick from Michigan and me from Montréal met today in beautiful Santa Fe, New Mexico. Thank you for the tchaï latte, Patrick.
Thanks also to our furry friends, Red dog, Max and Hemet for having us in their city.
We enjoyed meeting you Brigitte! Maybe someday our paths will cross again.
Lovely smiles @Brigitte thank you so much for sharing … and much warmer than Montreal
Well. We had some snow flurries in Santa Fe while Montreal was in the 70 F !
Sunday Brunch with HO’s A and 8 other global travels. All prefer to stay under the radar but we met here
And I had a 3 course what seemed never ending brunch that was incredible. The cappuccino was served in a soup bowl that required two hands.
Today I got whisked away to explore by HO’s B who I will be sitting for over Winter holidays!
They took me to Gods country
Over 90 pics and vids…
Grateful amazing wonderful people
Oh, you’re just amazing! Blithe spirit!
There are times when life gives you what you want and when you need it.
Today that came to me in the form of members Jan & Ginger both residents of Bainbridge Island and sadly recently bereaved pet Moms.
We talked about our beloved pet family members, sit experiences, friends we’ve made, THS and how life changing it can be. We cried, laughed and shared many memories … Jan & Ginger talked about the amazing sitters they have met and those they now consider life long friends and how Jan has begun her sitting adventures, mainly to get her doggy/pet fix.
A meetup doesn’t need a cast of thousands or even more that two, it’s the connecting that’s important and the opportunity to meet like minded spirits … just when you need it.
Thank you Jan and Ginger it was all my pleasure, Paddington sends his love too and says he doesn’t mind that we cut off his head, it wasn’t his best “side” anyway
PS >>> Perhaps we should need a forum topic on taking great selfies, the human kind.
@MarceCoral, her husband Lee and I met in SF on Sunday 27 Nov. They came by for me and we had a wonderful picnic of banh mi from one of their favorite places at the Palace of Fine Arts. Thanks so much for the tips and hospitality!
Tom
It was so nice to meet you, Tom! Thanks for all the knowledge shared and the great meet up
How amazing to be so far away from home but still able to meet up with fellow sitters. Yesterday we had the absolute pleasure to have lunch and then attend a Christmas concert performed by the New Zealand Army Band in the company of @Smiley .

Wonderful pictures and lovely smiling faces, thank you for sharing @Colin & @Smiley
We hope you are all enjoying New Zealand and have a very Merry Christmas …
Great to see your happy faces and that you have had such a lovely meet-up with an enjoyable concert as well @Colin and @Smiley.
It’s us again but, as I normally (and quite happily I have to say) spend Christmas on my own or at housesits it made a big change to spend the day near Christchurch, NZ with lovely @Colin and Karyo. We intended playing board and card games after lunch but talked non stop. Such great company and a lovely walk in Halswell Quarry Park
@botvot and @richten1 had a great coffee meetup last week on the South Coast of Portugal. We forgot to take a photo, but it still counts!
Merry Christmas to you all
… spending time with old and new friends is always special, the smiles say it all!!
Thank you for sharing @Smiley
