Hello everyone We are new, recently registered and have had our background checked. We are looking to look after animals and houses. Preferably no shorter than 2 weeks as it is a long journey. We are available from about 1 October to 1 April. Best regards Jóhann

Welcome!
Best wishes for successful adventures. There are so many opportunities! You might want to do some shorter sits in your local area, to get some 5 star reviews, before venturing abroad.
Where do you want to go? Top 5 places?

Welcome to forum @JohannOlafson !
As @PVGemini says, having a few 5* reviews will certainly open up possibilities for high competition sits. Some areas (like UK, except for London) there are more sits than sitters and it can be easy to get a sit. Other parts of the world, it is opposite.
It is all about a good match, so look for the good gut feeling. For a good match, don’t forget that sitters also should have criterias and be a little picky for your needs and wants.

Hello - we are going on a port Intensive cruise to Heimaey, Torshavn, Seydisfjordur, Husavik, Akureyri and Grndarfjordur - ten nights altogether. I have jotted down some ideas for each port and have booked a tour from Akureyri to the Godafoss Waterfall and Lake Myvatn and plan on going in the baths there. Some friends had suggested the Sky Lagoon over the Blue Lagoon but I decided to go to a less touristy bath. We’re only spending our last night In Reykjavik. Any suggestions in those ports would be very welcomed - thank you!
