A little introduction. I am still working on my listing. Have not succeeded in uploading info about all my cats. The webpage only wants to upload pics from one of three 
I hope this community will be the help for me as it seems to be for many others. I have been reading through comments and really am amazed about how well it all seems to work.
Still have not started to use it. First trip where I would need a cat sitter is not until september and then another one in November. So, fingers crossed I will find someone amazing cat lover

There dont seem to be many homeowners in Iceland so I’m sure you’ll be popular! I had a long weekend in Reykjavik many years ago and would love to return one day.

Iceland is a country that certainly fascinates me, and I have yet to visit it and know very little about it. I understand it’s somewhat of an expensive country to visit overall. Of course, the opportunity to share housing with your feline family members is therefore an added bonus.

Hello @Heida and welcome! As others have said, Iceland is a wonderful country. I visited with a couple of friends some years back. We loved exploring and visiting all the wonderful natural sights. We also rode Icelandic ponies. I’ve always said that I’d like to take my sons (now 13 and 11) to Iceland, I think they’d just love it!

As the previous replies say, you live in a beautiful country, we are lucky enough to have now visited on 3 occasions but will happily return anytime!
I am sure you won’t have any difficulty finding sitters for your cats

Welcome Heida! Iceland is a country which has been on my bucket list to visit for some time now. I’m sure you will have no problem in attracting a sitter. I will keep an eye out for your listing as I’m looking to visit somewhere in September

As others have said, you will no doubt find wonderful “cat-idates” during your travels. I, for one, will be on the lookout next year when more dates open up for us

Welcome to THS, and as you can see, your post has created a lot of interest. I’ve previously visited Iceland, and will be back for one brief night in September, on a transatlantic cruise journey returning to the US from the UK. Best of luck with welcoming your first petsitter into your home

We are big youtube video watchers, and surprisingly, we just started watching all the travel videos in Iceland. I just saw one on the volcano that erupted last year. Is it still active now? Also, all the hot springs and waterfalls have me excited to check out. Iceland is on my bucket list within the next three years, so who knows, maybe we can secure a sit with your furbabies!
