A discovery that after a combined 26 years of THS membership, 350 odd house sits across 6 continents, sitting for the same home owners on numerous occasions and combining to raise funds for a pet charity via a solo bicycle challenge, our most recent catch-up with @Angela_L for a picnic at Polesden Lacey, a National Trust icon south of London, we had sat for another owner way back in 2011/12 in NY State and were able to regale stories about that adventure.
Coincidentally we did a new sit with that owner, Judith, in her new French property 3 months ago after a break of 12 years so we were able to bring @Angela_L up to date with everything. We contacted Judith when we arrived ‘home’, sending photos and bringing her into the conversation and revisiting memories. With Judith still being a member, our combined membership totals 39 years.
Must be some sort of THS record? And a true meaning of community!
