Yes, you need to publish your dates so sitters can apply. You can add a link to it on your forum profile. Here’s a link to how you can do it:

Be sure to include the info most sitters look for:

Why should a sitter visit your area, what is there to see/ do?

How to get to your place by public transport, if any (nearest train station etc. If not, if you can pick up at airport, station it is helpful to say that already in the profile).

Grocery store, baker etc. + Where to find - walkable?

Include photos of bathroom, kitchen and sitters bedroom incl. size of bed

Be precise of the dogs’ daily schedule and the specific tasks with walk, food other or other tasks. Imoprtant: How long they can be left for outings of the sitter.

A sit of 6 dogs is of course a handful, so if you put yourself in the sitters shoes and can think of something that would be nice, include it. For instance pick up at station, if a friend or neighbor could help out (for instance if the sitter would visit a site and need to be gone a whole day to go there??), or if you don’t ecpect a full house clean if the sitter just tidy up after themselves.
