Heading to Dolgellau for Christmas and a few weeks after. Anyone else sitting that way?? Great walking area and fabulous dog friendly coffee/cake shop in the village. The Precipice walk looks like a nice early morning hike with the dogs. Has anyone done that?

No, but I wish I was – love that part of the world! Will you have a car to explore further afield? Ordnance Survey do a really good book of circular walks in Snowdonia, which have the relevant parts of their maps, plus good route descriptions. I wouldn’t say that all of them are dog-friendly though… some are definitely too scrambly for paws.
Hi Becca, yes I know quite a lot of the area. I did the same sit last year. The forest walks are epic for the dogs. I’m really looking forward to it again. Especially the log burner after the winter walks.
