We’re fairly experienced sitters (6 years, over 50 sits) but have never come across this. I went to check if the HO had mentioned their return time, either on their ad or in our onsite communications, and its all gone (profile, comms, everything). Is this what happens if they let their membership lapse, or is it a system glitch?
Luckily we have their whatsapp so it’s not like we can’t communicate…
I’d be communicating with them via WhatsApp @Myhnabird to ask whether they are currently members still as there is now no record of the sit on your Dashboard.
Yes, I’ll do that. I’m not concerned about the sit (starts tues), more just curious if this is what a non-renewed account looks like.

Good tip for all newcomers: When a Sit is confirmed, exchange phone numbers and email addresses right away, just in case.
Everything will disappear if the homeowners are not paid up members, everything will be gone until such time as they renew. If they don’t, you won’t even get or be able to give a review. Great reason why getting contact details, as you have done, as soon as sit is confirmed to avoid any issues which may arise from a member’s membership not being current.
I’m sure you’re right and I will mention it to them when we meet tomorrow evening. I’m sure they’re unaware about neither side being able to leave a review.
The problem could be an underlying violation of rules, and the question is - would the reason for the listing being gone be something that you would withdraw from the sit for?
For me, I would not commit to a sit if the profile is gone and I can’t verify the reason.
@Garfield This is definitely something I’ll keep my eyes open for tomorrow. We’ve never withdrawn from a confirmed sit but will if the red flags start waving.

This owner could have been removed from the platform after a serious complaint .
So it’s best to find out directly from THS .
Have you asked them whether the sit is on their dashboard?

Well, I solved the mystery. The sit had been set up on our second account. I’m so embarrassed…
Fortunately, I hadn’t reached the point of asking the HO why their profile had disappeared.
I’ll try to remember that other account in future.
