I believe you mean you are looking to house sit, not for house sitters. 
You should be able to find ample opportunities around Christmas since there are many more house owners looking for help than sitters available.
PS: Do you really travel on a motorcycle in the winter?

Yes we travel by motorbike all year. Now we are at New Orleans and next week we will be in Texas. We stay south on the winter time.
