So many forum members deserve a shout out for sharing generously their time, empathy, encouragement, inspirations , experience and fun . I agree with all the previous names mentioned . I don’t want to miss anyone out but here are a few that I am highlighting because their posts have personally helped me to deal with specific challenges during house sitting .
@KC1102 gave advice that changed my perspective and headspace early in our THS journey when I was feeling stressed and outraged because a homeowner had curtailed their trip to attend a social event and didn’t inform us they would be returning home several days early .
@Maggie8K ‘s no nonsense outlook, practical advice and wise words to other members about respecting your own boundaries and how to respectfully yet firmly handle owners requests / expectations that third parties can stay over during a sit proved to be invaluable to me when faced with this on a recent sit .
@Carla has taken serious topics of concern back to THS member services - following up and pursuing them for answers on behalf of forum members . Whilst the answers we got back from MS were not always what we wanted to hear , I appreciate how Carla understood how these issues are negatively impacting members , validated our feelings and invested time & effort to pursuing these serious issues with MS on our behalf .

I waited before responding to this because I really didn’t know how to compliment specific people when so many people on here are fantastic.
But what is lovely as I look at this post again now, is that most of the people that commented AND the people they mentioned are ones that are so familiar to everyone by offering advice, support, giggles, and being brutally honest when needed, but most are addicted to being helpful and kind. So can I give a huge thanks to everyone who commented and those that they complimented.

Yes, good point.
I felt bad about possibly leaving someone out. That’s always a risk in this kind of “shout-out” exercise. I have only been mentioned once here but I have posted loads on the forum. It would be a lie to say that I’m not sad about it. But hey, life is what it is and this thread is still a lovely idea.
