We’d love you to take a moment to compliment another Forum member, whether it’s related to pet sitting or not. Your compliment could be about their supportive advice, a moment of kindness, or maybe something that you admire about them. Anything that you think will make someone’s day a little better - and don’t forget to tag them in your reply!
Looking forward to seeing all your kind words!
Jenny
P.S. I can’t have favourites, so I want to compliment all of our Forum members for being such a clever, experienced bunch. The stories and advice you share are amazing, and I love seeing what everyone gets up to - especially when photos are shared!
I would like to acknowledge @Debbie for sharing great pics of her sits with her boys!
Though we’ve never met, she seems to be a very cheerful person with a great attitude who obviously is enjoying her sitting adventures and giving those young men a unique opportunity to experience the good things in life.
It’s hard to pick just one forum member as there are so many regulars here who give up their time to offer great advice, far more articulately than I can.
However for me @Cuttlefish stands out as, not only does she give sound advice but has a great sense of humour and I love her hashtags! #cuttlefishisthetops
I appreciate @Maggie8K for her wisdom and her decisiveness.
@Oztravels gave me a big laugh the other day with the comment about deleting a bikini pic. Also, when responding to the good and bad of sitting, @Oztravels reply was perfect.
@Silversitters is very engaged and takes the time to offer detailed and helpful advice to others.
I’m not super active on forum, so I know there are many more, but these three came to mind right away.
Like @Crookie and @Smiley, I’ve met @Debbie and her boys too. They are perfect examples of how sitting with a family can be so successful. Debbie is a great Forum contributor with very well-thought-out responses.
I’m terrible about remembering who said what, but I get so much out of these forums, both as a sitter and as a homeowner! I feel like these forums have definitely made me a better homeowner (and helped me improve my listing almost immeasurably) and probably a better sitter.
I’d like to give @Maggie8K a well-deserved compliment. She assesses, dissects & hones in on the pertinent points of many forum posts and gives practical, no nonsense advice backed up with experience. #loveherstyle
@ziggy is very empathetic and helpful on the forum.
I’m grateful to @Lokstar for sharing their recent experience here.
@Amparo inspires me with her travels and positive attitude!
Thank you Jenny for starting such a sweet thread! I’m always grateful for everyone’s input whether being advice, cautionary tales or just some humour! I can only link 10 members on this post but there’s so much more of course x
Aww thanks!
I’d like to give a shout-out to @cuttlefish our #hashtaghero, of course, @andrealovesanimals for her sense of humour, @BonnyinBrighton for her constant contributions & helpful advice, @Louise7 for her kind words, and @pietkuip for always sharing a different point of view to consider, and his knowledge of many areas (even though he thinks he’s a second grade sitter and he’s definitely not!!)
What a nice thing to set up @Jenny, it feels like a room full of virtual hugs. Thank you @Nagy26@avocadotoast & @Smiley for the kind words #feelingtheforumlove
@Nagy26 for her fresh energetic voice, her great advice, how she really wants to help people, and for her sense of humour
@Jenny for having improved the forum a lot over the past year or so!
@pietkuip for his refreshing views, the way he communicates honestly and directly, and the fact that he probably won’t care if he is mentioned in this list or not (I do admire people who don’t care what others think about them)
@Maggie8K for her no nonsense point of view. You can tell she’s a very capable person. I also like the fact that she seems to have built a very interesting life for herself while still working.
@pietkuip for his frank, decidedly non-Anglo-Saxon way of looking at life and sharing his opinions.
@BonnyinBrighton and @Cuttlefish
They come across as being fun, enthusiastic young retirees (pls correct me if I’m wrong), who lead a very interesting life.
@Marion and @Silversitters have consistently provided solid feedback on our post as well as several other forum listings. I always am grateful to read their feedback and see what thoughts they have on matters. Thanks!
