Ha, SO right!
Awww. She looks like such a sweetheart.
Super awesome action photo!
@LaRhonda Congratulations on your first sit! Belli & Freddie look adorable and when they sit on you, you just don’t want to move and disturb them, do you! Super cute. Do you have another sit planned?
Yes! I have two sits coming up. One starts in a couple of weeks in the SF Bay area. The other one starts in September, down in SoCal. Both are one month long. I’m looking forward to them!
I’m hoping to get a few sits somewhere in Europe, eventually. I’m still trying to figure out how to make that work, since I’m not sure if I should apply for a visa for a country I want to sit in, then book sits, or book sits, then apply for a visa. Seems like owners would be more comfortable if they know I’m already in the country they live in.
@LaRhonda Wow SF Bay area, I’m yet to visit but would like to and SoCal, plus both a month-long that sounds epic!
Please check out this topic and blog post as they might be very helpful with your other question and planning a trip to Europe.
Fell free to ask questions on that thread
I hope you have a wonderful time on your next sits and keep us updated with photos!
Thanks, Carla!
I’ve read the posts and some news stories about issues sitters have had regarding entering this country (U.S.) to house sit, and I’ve also downloaded the TH letters that (hopefully) will explain and clarify to border officials what TH is all about. I’m also researching the countries I want to sit in, to see what their laws say (if anything) about house sitting for accommodation (and volunteer work, in general) so I can apply for the appropriate visa.
I sit on the floor as well when the sofa is off limits!
Meet Lilly who lives in a delightful village in the Cotswolds. All I have to do is give her a carrot and some pats; poop picking up and letting her in and out of her overnight enclosure is done by someone else.
