So I have previously accepted a sit, but the start dates changed and we agreed that’s no problem and I’d happily accept the new dates.
So the homeowner changed the dates, I accepted the new dates, but now the platform is seeing it as an application rather than an instant new dates for accepted housesit.
So a changed date where the sitter (me) has already accepted a sit:
- Accepting of sit (both sides)
- Change of date by HO
- Sitter agreeing to new date
- HO needing to accept once more (they initiated date change!)
I feel like this is a bug!
You both have to click the invite/application one more time for it to log onto the system. HO has to resend now you’ve said yes and then you click accept. It’s clunky but then works, had it happen a few times @Wraldpyk #onemorestep
Haha yeah exactly, this is my second time too. But considering HO already wants us… (they accepted us before) it feel that last step should be removed (hence the bug report)
I feel it’s a good thing to keep, because that makes it clear both sides have understood what the new setting is, and communication has worked.
