Hi Everyone,
I am going for a week to Valencia with my daughter, her husband & little doggo Gus.
We’re looking for some lovely suggestions to explore with Gus in tow. If you know of any nice recommended dog-friendly cafes, restaurants, as well as sights/things to see and do, we would love to hear.
Thank you, and very much appreciate your input.
Hope you have the best time in Valencia! I have some family members there, and they mentioned el Jardin de Turía to go for walkies, and Playa de Pinedo (not all the beach is dog-friendly but part of it is). La Fábrica de Huellas is a dog-friendly coffee shop and to grab a bite, you can also take Gus to El Garaje Foodie.
Hi @Therese
We did a lovely sit in Valencia last August, such a beautiful city. With our canine companions we usually just took them to their local park and to the beach. Aside from dog inclusive activities I recommend hitting up The Oceanographic, Restaurante Submarino and definitely go see a Flamenco dancing performance. Wish you all the best time!
Pasqual + Sheila Restaurant is definitely worth a visit, it has great food and is dog friendly. Their location is C. del Mar, 2, Bajo, 46003 València.
If you just fancy a pastry & coffee (the Rose latte is good), there then I highly recommend their Pistachio Happiness croissant, it’s delish!
Thank you all for your suggestions and comments. We wrapping up our Valencia week which has been superb.
Some highlights and added recommendations:
Ciudad de las Artes y las Ciencias, Quatre Carreres, and walking/riding up the extended gardened area was a special highlight.
Downloading the Valenbisi App - for bicycles, ride and dock them - so many different points to pick up and drop off makes this seamless and so easy to get around as Valencia is nice and flat.
Fabulous evening at La Fabria de Hielo - Old warehouse conversion, rustic, dog friendly and enjoyed a great jazz session. They have a varied entertainment program each evening.
For tapas, we had wanted to go to Casa Montana (but unfortunately full) so we went to La Sestreria down the road, which was really good too. both dog-friendly.
And of course, not to forget Gus’ first sea swim on a lovely dog-friendly beach.
We got to most of the suggested dog cafes, which were all special, and Gus got well fussed over and loved!
