I find I am a bit behind schedule in making our holiday plans and am now worried that everyone has already made their plans for Thanksgiving. I’ve boosted my listing, but is there anything else I can do to attract sitters who might want to spend the holiday in Seattle and haven’t already made their plans? Is there a way for the forum to help connect with sitters for this particular holiday? Or maybe connect with sitters in other countries who might be less likely to have plans for these dates? Any advice welcomed!

Your listing isn’t linked so I can’t see it. I do sit T’giving and Christmas but you are right - usually arranged early.
I’m already sitting T’giving in West Virginia. But - I have enjoyed Seattle sits - are you offering use of your car? Or information about how convenient you are for transit?

THS has a search filter for Christmas sits. To our knowledge, this is the only holiday period that has such a feature. Thanksgiving is probably difficult for THS as the related dates depend on geography - US vs Canada different dates.
THS Forum has a ‘last minute sits’ area, in which pet parents can highlight their listing provided that the start date is within seven days.
Pragmatic solution is to ensure that your listing is attractive, so that housesitters will apply. Consider adding your THS listing to your THS Forum profile.
