We are new to THS and hope someone can help us. One of our references is in Portuguese. Is there a way to show the translation in English also?

Just pop it in to Google and it will translate it for you.

We use a translator often but how do I add the translation to an already posted reference?

Why not translate it yourself and copy it, then paste the text in your profile somewhere.
Or…
Can you ‘reply’ to the review and paste the translation there ?
If it’s already posted, not sure that is possible. You could potentially contact member services and ask them to add the text underneath the existing copy but I do not think it is possible for a user to edit reviews and references once they are posted.
In future, ask you’re referrers to write in English or post in both languages.
TH isn’t really a multi-lingual site so just keep that in mind if having things in English is important to you.
Use DeepL, it’s more accurate than Google Translate

You could add it as if it were another reference, with the header “translation of previous reference in Portuguese”.

Maybe from the website you can copy text, but from the app you cannot
Any HO worth their salt would use google translate themselves if they want the details. I don’t think you need to worry about it, unless there are some stars missing and the written review would make it more favorable.
