We’ve had also in the past a situation (4 tenants in the house + very dirty + …).
We called the supportline (being recorded).
After explaining, THS said we immediately could leave and they would contact host.
I asked : do we need to do ANYTHING (like proof, pictures,…).
THS said : NO, JUST LEAVE.
But we took pictures,…
Next day … mail from THS … they asked proof, pictures, names of tenants,…
We have a PREMIUM MEMBERSHIP (insurance).
It took us weeks of mailing before they would accept our insuranceclaim.
They instantly removed the HO from THS but at first wouldn’t accept our claim …
SO THEY ADMIT IT’S AGAINST THS-RULES BUT DON’T ACCEPT THE CLAIM 
So don’t give up and good luck.
SO FOR AL SITTERS … ALWAYS TAKE PICTURES, NAMES,…
And enjoy all the other sits like we are doing for more then 2 years now 
…
