Welcome Guide Share Button Missing - How do I share?

@Maeve …We are having the same issue just now. We have 2 upcoming sits - one during June and one during August.

For the second sit during August, I see the button to share the welcome guide.

For the first sit during June, I see no option to share the guide. For this sit, we had sent a formal invite/confirmation to a sitter that we had interviewed. He never accepted from his end due to indecision. We never shared the guide with him as he never agreed to the sit. We withdrew the invite due to his indecision after a few days.

For the June sit, we just now have interviewed new sitters, offered the sit, and they immediately agreed/confirmed to do the sit. There is no option to send the welcome guide. I think there is a bug as the guide was never released to anyone for this sit.

I just confirmed that our confirmed sitter (today) can’t see the Welcome Guide. There is a bug. We got their email address though and have shared a PDF with them.

Hello @Savuti94 I am just checking in on your issues with the Welcome Guide.

I checked for you and the good news is your welcome guide is available for your new sitters in June to view on their dashboard.

They need to click on your upcoming sit on their dashboard and they will see the updated welcome guide there. If you need more help Membership Services can see both your account and your sitters account and provide further guidance. :slight_smile:

I messaged the sitter yesterday to see if they have access to the Welcome Guide from their end. They are new to THS. But they have looked around and stated they don’t see access anywhere. I’ve emailed them a copy of the Welcome Guide after I saved the PDF to my computer. Issue solved for now. I don’t want to keep bugging them asking them to look again. It’s hard for me to tell them where to look when I am an Owner only.

It seems like the system should reset itself if you have shared the Welcome Guide with a confirmed sitter who then is cancelled - as we did. That is on my end, the share the Welcome Guide button is reactivated for the next confirmed sitter. It would just be clearer.

I can confirm your welcome guide is showing on their dashboard, but quite understandably as new members they might not have spotted it just yet, so it is great you have sent them a PDF and helped them that way.
