Riot Women on Britbox (in USA. )
I have to wait for episodes to be released but I liked the two I watched today. With Britbox (in USA ) you now have to pay extra to watch entire seasons. I’ll wait for episode to come out.

I am currently watching Stay Close on Netflix which is based on the 2012 Harlan Coben novel of the same title.
The storyline involves three people whose seemingly normal lives start to unravel as dark secrets from their past resurface, all connected by a cold case involving missing men.
I watched the Netflix live event just over ten and a half hours ago, where Alex Honnold free solo climbed the Taipei 101, Taiwan’s iconic skyscraper standing at 1,667ft or 508m without any ropes or protective equipment.
It was nail biting to watch but what an incredible achievement.
Did anyone else watch this?
I am currently watching and thoroughly enjoying The Night Manager (series 1) on BBC iPlayer.
The Night Manager is a British spy thriller television series which is based on the 1993 novel by John le Carré and stars Tom Hiddleston and Hugh Laurie.
Not warching, but listening while driving to nearby sits - Fawlty Towers, one of the funniest shows ever on television. I don’t miss the visuals - Manuel provides narrative when it’s needed.
Originally broadcast 50 years ago!
I can’t watch it as my stomach drops even though it’s not me (and I’m not even there)
Night Manager is fab, Olivia Coleman is excellent in it too. Series 2 hasn’t had very good reviews but haven’t seen any of it yet. Landman is excellent if you haven’t watched that - oil business plus cartels, Billy Bob Thornton, Jon Hamm and Demi Moore. #netflixnights
Currently we’re in the middle of an Apple tv series called Prime Target: it’s got a 9th century Baghdad maths archaeology mystery, a Cambridge PhD student, a wise professor, Spies, murders etc it’s brilliant although much of the maths portrayed is ‘all wrong’ ![]()

We have been watching a couple of series, Slow Horses and Patience,
Both feature an actor called Adrian Rawlins (who has also appeared in other things such as Harry Potter and Star Wars).
My husband was taken by surprise yesterday when visiting our local recycling centre to bump into him. Apparently he lives in our little Yorkshire town.
As an aside we have just finished watching Night Manger - excellent..
We’ve just finished watching Slow Horses for a second time as the new series lands this Autumn. Absolutely loved it.
@Twitcher I loved the Night Manager, I have just watched the last episode of Season 2, absolutely brilliant! I’m now eagerly awaiting Season 3 which has been confirmed… yay!! ![]()

I am currently watching and enjoying Under Salt Marsh on Sky Atlantic starring Kelly Reilly and Rafe Spall.
This is a six-part crime drama set in the fictional Welsh town of Morfa Halen. When a tragic crime rocks this tight knit community, a detective-turned-teacher, is drawn into an investigation which is threatened by a once in a generation storm.
Sounds a bit near the bone for here on the Costa del Sol lol!
I am watching the tennis catch up on Melbourne tournament.. the umpire has full responsibility and I can relax and admire the athleticism and artistry. (Spoiler alert!)
So glad Carlos Alcaraz won! What a fine player and in his prime already!
Hi @Highfive
Yes it was a great match and a well deserved win! I was rooting for him too! ![]()

I am enjoying watching the Winter Olympics on BBC iPlayer, I particularly love the Ski Jumping! ![]()
Is anyone else watching the Winter Olympics?
I love the skating. I’ve seen some short clips on videos not sure if that’s at the Olympic event or not but it’s always something I thoroughly enjoy. The skill, artistry, athleticism and all accompanied by some great music very often too. Spell binding.
Congratulations to this gold medal winner and his two cats!
I finally watched Years and Years over the weekend - it came out in 2019 but I’d never got around to watching it - it was very good but quite scary and I don’t think I could rewatch it! ![]()
