We live in Vancouver and just booked a trip to Mexico for November - not a sit. It’s a quick and easy vacation for us and a favorite destination. In the meantime we are keeping an eye out for local sits within British Columbia.

Have you been able to get travel medical insurance to cover that trip? If so, where? Our credit card provides us with medical insurance, but it’s invalid if there is a Canadian travel advisory. I’m hoping that will be lifted by fall, but in the meantime, I’m looking for insurance that would cover us even if the advisories aren’t lifted.
Finally Germany has taken South Africa from the list of virus variant countries, woohoo! We’ve been waiting for this to happen for months! As we’re fully vaccinated we now don’t need to quarantine for 14 days back home.
We plan to go there for 10 days in December (we’ll be back before Christmas) but so far our tickets have not been confirmed and that’s why I still wait to put the listing online.
