@toml These are beautiful. I admit that I did not know much about fountain pens or how beautiful they could be until a friend one day showed me a limited edition Montblanc fountain pen and it was beautiful. I am glad you got to experience the joy of owning them and they are now passed on to others who will equally love them.

I just used them for everyday writing. Got my first 2 as Bar Mitzvah gifts almost 60 years ago. Didn’t use them until 10th grade when English teacher wouldn’t let us use ball points because they splotched. My classmates mostly used the Schaeffers with the colored translucent barrels but I had my two ‘good’ pens to use.

What’s brought me joy over the past week has been watching women from around the world compete in the Womens World Cup. Many of the players are woefully underpaid, but momentum is building around the world for women’s soccer / football, and its been great supporting that growth.

We have those exact same plums @Kelly! We’re in Italy, where are you? They are sooooo sweet & so juicy I have to eat them over the kitchen sink

@Saltrams @Kelly we should have some delicious Victoria plums on our tree now but unfortunately we only have a few here and there at the very ends of the branches because we have a resident pigeon who loves eating the plum blossom!

We’re in San Diego and this is the first year we’ve had a harvest like this. Before it was only a few and now we’re picking this many a week sometimes more! They’re so juicy and delicious the skin just falls right off too.
