@toml maybe the cat is having a little holiday of his own
Enzo and I took in the sights from aboard a tour bus. Fun. He seemed to enjoy himself, was engaged the whole time.
We also walked around town a bunch and had lunch riverside. Enzo made lots of friends. So sweet.
Stratford-upon-Avon has plenty of restaurants with outdoor or courtyard seating, dog friendly. This meal was made more entertaining by the boat below us, with folks who struggled to row away from the riverbanks.
Today I discovered a benefit of highly fragranced lilies after moving them to another room (their scent makes my head ache)… they mask the ahem fragrance emitted silently by 4 dogs! I think i find the latter easier to cope with
My mother-in-law has flown in from Greece to visit us.
During her stay she will be joining us on two house sits
First stop - Manchester, UK
‘Mother & Son’
Second stop - East Wittering, UK
‘Mother-in-law & Son-in-Law’
Cat ate his food last night but still haven’t seen him.
We are just outside Perth with the lovely Pinot who loves her toy duck!
We’ve had a local wander and met the neighbours.
Perth, Scotland from the looks - not Western Australia?
Yes, Perth in Scotland. Not Australia or Canada!
Roxy looks like they’re just about sleeping on the job
Another Blue Ridge Pkwy, Virginia sit - less than a mile from the sit that ended yesterday - both HOs are members - after accepting the first sit I got an invite to the second.
A vary wary pup - Kahlua who is perfectly content to keep his distance and watch. Sometimes from outside, sometimes he will come in, but keeps his distance.
Beautiful setting -
Kahlua observing me when I first arrived
And watching me from inside
Sunset
and the night sky
We took Pinot on a bitof an adventure yesterday. Here she is admiring the views from Ben More on our way to find Scotland’s first and oldest geocache.
Starting my first sit tomorrow Two kitties in Alberta, CA
Me in GA! And it’s going great! I am with 2 small dogs who are speaking to the across the street neighbors as I write this. They are very observant but so sweet! The HOs are super nice and hospitable, as well This is a return sit and I am loving it just as much teh 2nd time.
I am currently in Colorado with Archie, a Chiweenee pup.
And while here, I was also able to reunite with Elsa, a German Shorthaired Pointer that I cared for 2 years ago.
It is a special time while meeting a new pup and reuniting with another.
Enzo continues to tour Stratford-upon-Avon with me. He’s the most good-natured dog I’ve ever met. Never met a stranger on two or four legs.
He’s also been recognized by some folks around town. So sweet. The trick is not letting him into all the pubs and shops that presumably have given him treats before. He’s determined to visit them on each walk, LOL.
This is Betsy, our lovely Turkish rescue dog

This is where Betsy (& us jammy wotsits) are sitting together

The gjnger reminds me of my Dakota who crossed the rainbow Bridge in 2002. He was a character and a big floof ball.
