I am in Norway for a month-long sit with 2 weeks to go. It has been a wonderful experience with great HOs and a location that is beautiful. Cats that are loveable and easy. But yesterday one of my pets at home became quite ill and I am feeling guilty about not being there. My adult son is caring for her but he is also freaking out. She is currently at the emergency vet awaiting an MRI. Unfortunately this is making me rethink international sits because i feel so far away and hopeless.
Oh @mam1996t
I am so sorry to hear about one of you own pets at home. It is always so difficult when you not hands on there. Please do keep us in the loop how he/she is doing. I am sure your son is doing the best he can. Our thoughts are with you.
Feeling for you @mam1996t and praying that your dear pet will be okay. It’s so very hard being away when something like this happens. She is in the best of hands but I fully understand how much you want to be with her. Thinking of you, your son and your much-loved pet.
No pets sit, however this neighbor’s kitty has been visiting us everyday. Unusual alien looking kitty, I am guessing oriental/Siamese mix with deep blue eyes.
@BunnyCat
I recognise that cat
We hope you have enjoyed your time in Brighton - I didn’t realise it is now that you are there!
We must be taking over from you as we were asked to do another sit there starting on the 19th!
Where are you off to next?
This is Gulliver who is recovering after falling from a great height (roughly 3 storeys high ) an hour before I arrived for the sit.
A lucky cat if ever there was one. Stayed in the animal hospital for 2 days.
Needs and getting lots of love and reassurance.
So wish him well
