Iām currently looking after a beautiful British shorthair cat. I had the idea to see if I could find some music for cats on YouTube and it turns out the one I found, he absolutely loves. I havenāt seen him this happy or relaxed. Have a look at the picture and youāll see just how chilled he is. I want to share this in case anybody has any anxious cats as it might help soothe them. Itās on a channel called Healing Vibrations and look up Music for Cats. So many comments under that video saying how much their cats love it. This was a great little discovery that I just wanted to share with all of you here.

Lovely suggestion. Nice for them to have some easy listening on in the background. I was very chuffed with my musical discovery that I stumbled upon and saw what a positive effect it had on this cat.

Funny you should say that actually. You reminded me that when I was a child, we went out on the sea in a little rowing boat just off the north west coast of Scotland. My mumās friend suggested that I sing to attract the seals over to the boat. I was quite reluctant to at first but then gave it a go and so many of them started swimming over to us and surrounded the boat. A great memory that was.

My dog suffers from anxiety too and so when we leave him alone we always play the āclam my dog mixā on Alexa and it always helps put him at ease too. Thank you for sharing!

It was an amazing experience. We were even able to pat the top of the sealsā heads. So glad I got to experience that and it all started by singing them a song in my not so fabulous singing voice!
