Adjusting TH platform to receive notifications on specific location

Hello!
I’ve made different adjustments to receive applications for a specific city, but nothing seems to work. So, when I do manual research I always seem to get late and HO are already reviewing.

Any advice? Thanks from Barcelona!

If you do that in the web interface, it is best to change “⇅Sort by” to Newest.

When you save a search in the web interface that should generate daily emails.

On the app (not the web interface), such as on your phone, do a “saved search” for the City that you want. This way, you will receive alerts on your phone when new listings come up.

Just make sure on your phone, that you have gone into your Settings and into the THS app and “Allow Notifications” so that you will get the alerts on your phone. This is the quickest way to be notified of new listings.

Also, on your phone (in the THS app), you can look at listings in the City that you want, and if you “favorite” (click on the heart) any listings that appeal to you (even ones that do not have current dates), you will be notified if a “favorite” has new dates. You will receive an alert on your phone.

Ok so I have my notifications on my app. I have my preferences as far as destinations. I click on favourites as I am reviewing places to pet sit. Places in Italy, France as an example and still not getting notifications. I manually have to check. Any other ideas?

In the Settings on your phone or tablet, make sure you “Allow notifications” for the THS app. This is imperative.

Your “preferred destinations” has nothing to do with getting notifications and is actually pretty useless, in my opinion.

It could be that your “favorites” have not posted new dates since you favorited them??

Also, you can create “Saved Searches” for Italy and France, separately. This way, you should receive a notification/alert on your phone each time a new sit is posted within your Saved Search criteria.
