First time i see that sign ( Istanbul IST airport)
Hoş geldiniz
Sweet. Some airports also have areas for pets to relieve themselves in.
Great to see increasing accommodations for pets. Like we’re now able to travel much more easily with our dog, because there are more dog-friendly hotels. And I’ve taken my dog on tour trolleys, a giant Ferris wheel, a tour ferry and such in the U.S.
In Glasgow and Stratford-upon-Avon, I was able to take my sit dogs on hop on, hop off tour buses, a river cruise and a river ferry. The U.K. is great with letting dogs into various pubs and restaurants, more so than the U.S., where health codes often keep dogs out.
I did encounter a U.S. whiskey distillery with a restaurant / bar / tasting room that invited my dog in, though. He didn’t tipple, but enjoyed part of a charcuterie board, LOL.
Sitting on Whidbey Island a few years ago I stopped at a breakfast place with Buddy, planning to sit at a bench outside. We were both invited in for breakfast - Buddy even got a few strips of bacon and the chance to learn chess at the outdoor chess board.
@toml My doggo would look at all those chess pieces with the same eye as to a fire hydrant.
@SaraShann Buddy was very well behaved through the whole sit!
