Regarding the lounge passes, are they transferrable? I donāt need mine because I have lounge access with my credit card so Iād like to transfer them to my daughter or son, if possible.

Angela is on the road today returning from her sit, but Iāve checked with Paul in membership services and he says āthe pass belongs to the memberā and that it should be fine but you would need to contact membership services to book on their behalf. I found that this is a strange āBlack Fridayā Offer as it treats every member differently. A Black Friday offer from retailers and other businesses usually treat everyone the same, e.g. a 50% discount meaning that you get half off the retail cost; everyone has the same result.
Here, every member has a different date when their membership expires so that each member has a different saving.
I feel for @Edith and @sarahjh22 and @Terry who have been rewarded for their early upgrade to have been locked out of this deal.
I have just looked to see what my āwhoppingā 50% will be and it is US$ 6.74. (I donāt know why I am quoted $ when I live in the UK)
I am definitely not interested in Premium and I am not fussed about Standard. So a saving of US$ 6.74 is hardly going to draw me into a higher tier where I will then have to pay a higher fee for each and every year.
I suspect that this is a strategy to encourage current members to upgrade to a tiered membership, while eventually phasing out the āclassicā or original plan that we all joined before tiered membership was introduced. I hope Iām wrong about this.
Also, Iām still waiting for an answer to my question and some questions above, before I make any decisions or changes. This offer ends on 27 November so hopefully we will get some clarification this week.

Where can I find detailed information on the T&Cās of the cancellation and liability insurance offered in the premium membership? All I am finding are summary/overview statements with no detail.

Thanks for the link @Angela_L. As a fairly new member, it was wonderful to take advantage of the upgrade, solely to include the cancellation insurance option. Of course, as with all insurance, weād love to never find ourselves in a position to actually utilize it. The airport lounge is a nice perk too!!!
