Hello, we are new to this forum and are from the HO side of TH having actively joined in November 2021. So far we’ve had just 1 pet sitter but have 2 more couples scheduled for this year when we get to go on holiday again:-).
We have 1 cat - a 5 year old Ocicat called Lily who loves to chat with us. We live in the Test Valley in Hampshire in a small village full of thatched cottages and close to great Trout fishing rivers. The location is great as in 40 minutes you can be in Southampton and the New Forest while 90 minutes takes you to London.
This year we’re planning on travelling more with trips planned to Dubai, the Caribbean and Italy. We’re also hoping to get to the US to visit friends in New York State and Florida who we haven’t seen for 3 years.
It will be good to pick up tips from other HO and sitters on this site.

An article has been published on Housesitting magazine lately by an owner who is also a sitter, who gives advices.
On this forum many more sitters seem to contribute than owners. But if you use the spy glass, there is a category (owners) where you may find answers.

There’s a wealth of information and help available both in the threads on the forum and on the THS site and members here are very friendly and supportive.
