I keep getting signed out

I open the THS website, I am logged in, and I make a search for sits. I click at an interesting sit. It automatically opens on a new page. Where I am signed out. I sign in. It redirects me to the main page. I search the sit again. I click it. It automatically opens on a new page. Where I am signed out. Forever. I can not apply for the sits, as there is no way for me to be signed in on the page of the sit.

More money = worse quality.

It’s working totally fine for me, so you may have a tech issue. Your “more money = worse quality” is a little strange given you don’t mention even contacting the support team as yet to give them a chance to fix your tech issue. I’ve found the support team really quick to sort the odd tech glitch I’ve had in the past, but if they aren’t aware of your problem then they may not be aware that there’s anything that needs fixing, so raise it with them.

I too get signed out from the app from time to time. By the time l sign back in again on occasions l have missed applying for sits. Another frustrating situation

I did contact the support. I did that over a month ago, when they first introduced the two step log in. Their response was “no can do”. For your pleasure I can do that again, but I would rather not, as it will not result to nothing. It’s not like the money goes to more customer service… How will you compensate for my time once I have indeed contacted the support, and they have indeed not done anything about it? Pay my yearly subscription to prove that you really really love THS and stand behind them?

@ChiaGrowth I’m not a tech person but I do use a MacBook Air and Safari. Sometimes Safari is the problem for me. Once I move to Chrome and do the same thing (not specifically your situation) the problem is usually resolved. Annoying but it is often a successful fix. Good luck. :slightly_smiling_face:

Before resorting to sarcastic misdirection on this forum, I hope you’ve tried all the standard stuff when computer stuff goes wonky: restart your computer, clear your Safari cache, try a different browser (Firefox, Chrome or my preference, Duck Duck Go), verify your OS is up to date, try logging in on any other device, so and so forth. If any of those actions sidesteps your issue (unless it’s an OS version incompatibility (very unlikely)), expecting THS tech support to fix a problem that is your computer’s problem is a big ask. Their technical staff might be able to help because of their superior tech knowledge but every customer expecting IT support from THS (or Amazon or the NYT or …) does not scale.

The forum is a friendly place, where everyone tries to help each other.

Look, I can see you only joined the forum less than a month ago, so check out the forum rules, and don’t get narky and direct anger to those that attempt to help based on what your original post said… especially when your post had been up for 3 hours and no-one else had responded at all at the point that I did.
