HELLO! We are Louise and Bob and we live in the FABULOUS Greenville, SC, area!! We moved here a year ago after spending 3 years traveling around the country in our motorhome. Prior to that, we lived in Connecticut where we had rewarding careers as a Registered Nurse and an Executive Assistant. We have one goofball of a dog named Tessa. She adopted us 6 years ago and has been making us laugh since the day she came home.
We are so very fortunate to be friendly with two couples who are sitters through THS, and they have had incredible experiences. We are hoping to have the same, only we are starting out as home owners looking for sitters. We would LOVE to eventually become sitters ourselves, but don’t feel that is possible at this time since we have our own dog to care for.
We have posted our first request for a sitter in October. Will have another trip coming up in December. I look forward to learning more from all of you!

Hey Louise and Bob. Welcome! I’m Duwan, a full-time nomad, although not a full-time sitter. Greenville is my city of residence. I lived there for about 15 years. My husband and i have friends and family there and visit often. I shall keep a look out for your listing when we are in the area.
I hope you are enjoying Greenville. It is an amazing little city that has changed so much over the years.

Currently petsitting but have a pet myself (that others look after while I petsit 
) and might get a dual membership at some point to get a sitter while I sit…

Hi, Duwan! Thanks for reaching out. I checked out your profile … are you living in Quito now? One couple who we are good friends with who are also TH sitters spent their summers in Cuenca. We almost went to visit them there this year, but health issues forced us to cancel some trips. Would love to meet you when you’re in GVL. We have a newish grandchild so hope to make trips to see her more often. Cheers!

We are just traveling through Quito. We are in South America learning Spanish. We spent 3 months in Colombia and will spend three months here in Ecuador before heading to Peru. We will be in Cuenca next month. We have a house sit there! We are really looking forward to it. Ive heard lots of great things about Cuenca. I’m not sure when we will return to the US - sometime next year, i guess. My husband’s mother lives outside of Charlotte and his son in Greenville, so the Carolinas will probably be our first stop when we return.
