I’m Kat and have been living nomadically by housesitting through THS for over 6 months now, and loving it 
I have a gap inbetween sits from 7 July - 11 July and was wondering if anyone has any tips or known places that may be able to help me out? I will be in the Manchester/Sheffield area, but happy to travel a little bit.

I just saw a listing in Great Dunmow with a cat for those dates, it looks like it’s about a 3-hour drive from Sheffield.
I see one 7-12th in Bakewell if you could talk to the HO about flexibility re dates.
The OP won’t be able to contact this host if they already have a sit confirmed on 12th . But could save it as a favourite in the hopes that the host sees and gets in contact .
Oh thank you, my issue is that I don’t have a car. I have a sit in Sheffield til the 7th and then a flight on 11th from Manchester so would like to stay in that region if possible!

If the OP only has a gap frim 07-12th, it’s impossible to communicate with the HO (unless there’s been a previous contact) due to the overlap rule.

With your gap end date involving a flight - and not another sit - its a good idea to check if there’s any flexibility with sits (remember when we all could do that?). Good luck, @KatC !
You could check out Jonas hotel, and there might be affordable acconmodation in connection with dorm houses at universities. Often such housing is used for «summer hotels» with favorable pricing.
