I thought i’d share this post as it may answer your question.
"A few people have mentioned that there is no option to browse the map without having searched for a location first. We found that the way the old map was grouping sits with a global view could have been better
There’s some work underway that will offer the whole-world map view with more reliable groupings of sits, with an updated design. This is still a few weeks away, I’ll share more about this as soon as I’m able to.
In the meantime, if you search for a destination, you’ll be able to zoom out to view any areas you’re interested in."
