We had a message saying please review the HOs, we did, then we had an email saying don’t forget to review them, then we had an email saying well done on your 5 star sit (there was no review for us yet), please review THS #totallyarseaboutface
These issues have been reported to THS back in December when the review system was introduced .
It’s disappointing that these “teething” problems with the review system have not been fixed 6 months on - @Carla do the product team have a date for fixing these review e-Mail issues ?
our review appeared now (it is 12.21 UK time) so it might have been published at noon, UK time. If I had known, I would have logged on at 11.59am and then refreshed at noon to see the difference, but maybe @RR12345 RR1234 @Cuttlefish yours have published just now as well?
Just used the new blind review system for the first time. What a mess!
Yesterday I received an alert to say the HO had left their review and then I did mine. So far so good!
Today I get an alert to say they have responded to my review so I go to have a look. Nothing there but a message to say the 14 day window has passed.
It has only been 2 days since the sit ended and both reviews are showing fine - but definitely no response to my review.
Very confusing
@Twitcher I have had exactly the same thing happen. The host and I both left reviews during the 14 day window. Then I received an email saying the host had replied to my review, click here to see what they said. When I clicked the link in the email, it took me to a message saying it was too late for me to leave a review. After dismissing the message multiple times, I was finally able to read the reply.
That is exactly what happened to me @Debbie.
In fact the HO had responded to my review but the only way I could see it was when I searched for myself as a sitter and read my reviews. Not ideal and very frustrating.
Something is really wrong with this review system. My HO told me that she could only do 5* and no words, there was something wrong and would contact THS. I did my response review to 5* and then got another part review
Also had several " write your review" and “can’t write review as 14 days” It is now 5 days since I finished my sit. Something is wrong here!!
I am not surprised there are so many odd and incomplete reviews now @Keith1. The new system is not intuitive.
I have just left a review and it was very clunky. At first glance it looks like you can only leave a review that fits in to the small text box.
When you start a new paragraph you cannot see the text unless you scroll up.
It would be very helpful if the text box said ‘Leave your review here’ and expanded to show all of the review and not just a few lines.
Definitely another backward step.
