Hello everyone. I’m Cristal and live with 2 pups that I adore. I figured I could share how I got both.
The first pup I got I bought in 2014. It was going to be my first dog as an adult and I was searching for a yorkie. I had wanted one since I was a child. I checked the shelters and couldn’t find one so I expanded my search and still came up empty. I then decided to look for a responsible breeder. I picked him up weeks later once he was ready. He loved meeting people so I named him Amigo Jack, goes by AJ.
Second pup I got with help from my sister. Well I started feeling bad that I was leaving him all alone when I went to work everyday. Then i thought, he needs a buddy. Ihad told my sister about it, but I hadn’t really gone to get one just yet. She lives in an area with farms and large fields. She also was part of the community Facebook group. One day a lady posted a picture of a small white dog they had found on their property with no tags. They had taken her to the vet to see if she was microchiped, she wasn’t. The lady that found her couldn’t keep her and didn’t want to take her straight to the shelter so she posted a picture of the dog and her story and asked if anyone would take her. My sister sent me a picture of the post and instantly I said yes! She has gorgeous honey colored eyes, I named her Athena.
My life then became full of amusement with them. Athena even began being protective of me and later of AJ too. I mean he is smaller at 8lbs compared to her 12-13 lol
Anyway, I love to travel but I stay grounded due to having to find someone to watch them. I used Rover in the past, but it gets expensive for 2 dogs. I wish i could take them with me but that’s not possible either.
