Hello THS members! We have had a double membership for several years now, hosted people in our home and traveled and sat mostly as a family as well. My husband is soon retiring from the Coast Guard and has always dreamed of hiking the Appalachian trail. Myself and the kids (18 and 9) are not quite as adventurous. While we may do some hiking with him, we are looking to housesit and follow his journey along the way. Does anyone have any house sits along the Appalachian Trail we can save and keep an eye on if it matches our dates? I also love the idea of loving on some pets along the way!
Have you tried using the THS site or app and searching for sits along the route? You can then favourite from there

This is just a quick note to say I’m closing this discussion as our Community Guidelines state that the Forum can’t be used to find a sit, unless it’s a Last Minute Sit submitted by an owner to the appropriate Forum category.
As mentioned by @Hallt64, any sits must be arranged via the THS site or app.
Wishing you lots of luck finding a sit along the Appalachian Trail, it sounds like a grand adventure!
