We have been cancelled on twice in a dozen sits. And the sits just disappeared, there was no notification, again I had to seek out the owner to figure out what was going on.

Sorry to hear about these cancellations without notification- did you contact member services at the time ?

If there is a situation where either a sitter or pet parent cancels and, for any reason, it does not sit well with you, it is important to email support@trustedhousesitters.com as membership services can log this on their account and therefore monitor any further behaviour.

I agree that some information about a HO/sitters past record of reliability would enable more informed choices.
