Sitters who've saved my listing

Just fyi…I got a saved search result email today for US saves.

I’m a HO and in the happy position that many sitters have saved my listing. This is, however, a very mixed blessing.

Like many others on this thread, I’m frustrated at the lack of common sense on this feature. Is there some way you can make the most recent sitters appear at the start of the list? My first page constantly shows the same sitters and for all I know, they date back years?? Either have a ‘skip to last’ option available, or change the order in which I can see them (ie most recent first) , or put a date when the sitters ‘save’.

As it is, this ‘saved sitters’ list just doesn’t make sense and doesn’t help in any way :flushed:

PS: I would like to add that I’m incredibly grateful to all the sitters who take the time to either ‘save’ or, more importantly, actually apply for our sit. All the sitters we’ve had over the years have, without exception, been incredibly interesting people and exceptionally good at looking after our dog(s) and property. I take my hat off to each and every one of you! And a big thanks to the TH team for putting us all in touch with each other. :blush:

Just putting in my two cents as a Sitter! Owners should realize that when Sitters click on the heart, they are “loving” your listing. I would not necessarily view it as “saving” your listing. The Sitter really likes your listing and would like to apply to a Sit in the future. The Sitter is not necessarily available for your currently listed dates. When I see a Sit that I want to apply for, I follow through immediately. I click on the heart when I really like the listing, but the current dates do not work for me.

Happy news: I saved a Host’s Profile last night, for future, and THEY INVITED ME today.
That was a very welcome, and pleasant first for me, being new.

I have sent out about 25 applications in 3 weeks, and have 2 wonderful Sits now.

That’s why I favourite them too.

When I get new email notifications of sitters that saved my listing and then click on the link, it doesn’t show me who it is. When I click on it, I am just brought to the page that shows all the sitters that saved my listing. Sometimes, if I can make out the tiny picture from the e-mail I can search through and find them, but sometimes that doesn’t even work. Is this happening for everyone? Thanks.

I agree, like a lot of owners I find the this “sitters have saved your listing” notification email pretty frustrating. It should not be beyond the wit of your excellent IT wizards to have a filter on htis page to allow this list to be displayed by (1) sitter’s date of saving, which would give SOME clue as to which sit (dates) the email alert referred to.
MODS, You must be able to tell us what actually IS the logic which determines the order in which sitters who have saved my listing are displayed?
