Hello! I was wondering if anyone has gotten any suspicious applications recently? I received two in the last 48 hours for “local” people. They only had one image that had clearly been lifted from a website, and their profiles were non-specific. Stuff like, “I’m looking to house sit because I may want to buy a house one day and want experience.” Or, “I love animals.” When I asked for more information, I didn’t get a reply. They look very different than most of the profiles I see, and I am wondering if these are scam accounts somehow.
Has anyone else experienced this? I did put in a query to THS, but I thought I’d check here as well.
I’d push that straight up to THS.

Hi @apublichouse welcome to the forum and thank you for flagging this incident you’ve experienced, I’m sorry that it has happened to you. If there is ever anything suspicious about any communication a member receives then Membership Services is the first place to report this.
I will check the matter with the team when they are back on line.

That’s nice of you to still try to engage. I have to limit my profile because people kept making fake accounts with my information and photos, But the no response you have been getting sounds sketch.

I am not concerned with anyone on this site, its other social media sites…mainly facebook and instagram where this is an issue. I do see that part of the profiles are searchable so that gave me a little hesitation at first, but if I see someone with a fake account on her, I am glad to know you will take this seriously.
