Received what appeared to be an application to sit for us, but instead it said account was frozen? Gave a link to unfreeze and reset account. Link asked for personal details account info and bank balnace amount.
Cchecked with admin and its def a scam surprise i know.
If you get similar messages please dont click on link and motify admin on web chat asap.
Although the annoying chat bot says all sits are vetted, I got an invite from an inactive member for tomorrow. There is a link and a message tgat says if I dont click on it my account will be irrevocably deleted. I wont be clicking on it but it might worry somone.
I have just had a very similar thing. Looked at first glance like an invite then mentions account suspension if I don’t follow link, which of course I won’t. Have notified THS support and they’re looking into it. So take care.

Be careful, I received today an invitation from one of my favorite listings but it contained a suspicious text.
Basically i said that my account was temporary blocked and my membership was going to get cancelled if i didn’t verify it by clicking on a link they sent me.
Don’t click on the link neither decline/accept sit.
I informed Trustedhousesit and they said they are aware of it and they are investigating.
We haven’t received anything weird, but our sitter profile suddenly deleted my name and now only has my fiancé’s name (it says ‘his name’ & his name’) in our title instead of his name & my name, and has replaced my name with his in all relevant fields). When I go to edit my details for my name, it has a strike through on the curser and won’t let me edit. I tried on both the app and the webpage, but it’s doing the same thing. Weird. Is this just because the system has potentially been hacked at the moment, or should we contact support? It wasn’t like that yesterday
There will be lots going on behind the scenes that I don’t see, as they’ll need to investigate, all I can really do is confirm what’s going on and share any updates that I get. I’m confident they’ll be taking the appropriate action to make sure everything is safe and secure.

Okay, I got in contact with support, and they were able to solve it - it was nothing to do with the system being hacked, it was because we recently updated our payment details and for some reason it had swapped around our details for our name/age/occupation boxes etc. Problem is solved now
