Carrying on from the appliance discussion. I have found the range of corkscrews fascinating. I think I have found my new collectable items (no I’m not going to pinch them)

Most of those type of cork screws I haven’t a clue how to use. A demonstration from the home owner would be handy! I keep thinking I should carry my own easy to use corkscrew plus a slew of other things, such as squeezy mop…..

No notable corkscrews on sits, but we moved and found one of these still in the box and can’t for the life of us remember how we got it. Must’ve been part of a gift basket or such.

Perfect timing for this thread . Our current sit has several … this is my favourite , very theatrical because the parrots wings open up as the cork is pulled from the bottle
