Cool pics and info. York is my home town and I know it’s not unusual to see dogs sat in pubs or even landlord dogs lapping up the attention they get!!
I was born and grew up in York, but haven’t lived there for over 20 years. I found this article really interesting. While many of the places I had never heard of, it was reassuring to see that some places from my past were included. My dad lived round the corner from The Ackhorne and it has always been dog friendly. It is also tiny! The Minster Inn is another that appears unchanged.
