Not really from my window, but here’s the view down the road from the cottage we are staying in right now on Galiano Island. We start our housesit on Thursday.
That Mediterranean pine is a give away, you are in Italy somewhere
Oh I love this thread! I take quite a few pics from windows… I will hold back but here are a few
View from inside a goat herder’s cave in Jordan
view of the Dead Sea from a nature reserve ‘cabin’ in Jordan
My husband sneaking a kitty cuddle at Petra (because it is always about the critters, right)
Not sure why the first pic did not come through…

Thanks Vanessa!
Thanks for the info Provence!
We just arrived at a new house sit and have been welcomed by a great London skyline view from our window
We visited the Hoover Dam for the first time this week. The view from the van, and at each place we stopped to take photos, filled me with awe. This feat of engineering, is one I have never seen before. One the other hand, the sadness I felt, seeing how this beautiful body of water has disappeared over time, was overwhelming.

First snow of the season here in Burgundy… Woke to this view today. Very pretty but we have a long road journey today so hope all the electric chargers are working! Keep fingers crossed for us

We had snow on the hills here in Scotland last night, unfortunately I didn’t get the camera out until it had gone

Here sad weather. Grey sky and rain. It is good to stay near the stove. But cranes are passing and it is nice to hear them. The picture of cranes, it is not today
The Hoover Dam really is stunning and as you say a feat of engineering. We always end up stopping every time we are passing by on our route through!
The photos below are from a visit there in October 2016.
Sadly the Colorado River Basin, which feeds Lake Powell and powers the Glen Canyon Dam, is in a 22-year drought. The National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration said the U.S. experienced it’s fourth warmest year on record in 2021, driven in part by the warmest December on record.
