I noticed today that on one of my welcome guides, there is information in one section that shows up when I look at it on the app but not on the website.
I searched this topic before posting to see if anyone else had brought this up and there was a post from last summer but not in this ‘feedback section’ There some people experienced the opposite–info on the web version but not in the app.
Thought it would be good to post it here as it is definitely something THS should look into since some people may exclusively use just the app or the web version of the site, leaving them completely unaware there could be missing info.
@KC1102 I was one of the people who posted last year when quite by accident I noticed that there was information on the web version that was not on the App .
It was the security code to the key box , so it was quite important! (As we were scheduled to arrive after the host had left )
The host insisted that the information was in the guide . I checked - it wasn’t. We were both correct . The information was on the web version and missing from the App . This disparity between the two , made it look as if I hadn’t thoroughly read the WG so wasn’t a good first impression.
It’s just to direct people to your discussion. When you posted your reply I was in the middle of sending the links to both posts over to the team, and explaining the concern.
If I hear anything back from the team, or if there’s any solution, I’ll be sure to pop back here and I can also update the answer at that point.
Hi Jenny,
I’m trying to do the Welcome pack on my iPad and I complete one section/page and there is no Save at the bottom of the form. I click back to the main page to do another section, same again no Save. If I go back and check a section I have completed it’s blank again. I’m so glad I typed out all the instructions in a document first.
Does it not like iPads, do I need to do it on a computer?
Thanks in advance,
Mo
@MoKa-Max-Chi-Dex THS has previously said that they don’t support iPad app use. But various companies say that, because the iPad user population is small versus say cell phones and it takes resources to maintain multiple apps, so they cut support. Instead, you’ll find that you can use the cell phone app and website on iPad, but sometimes functionality is stunted. If that’s the case, you might need to switch to a laptop or PC.
BTW, I use iPads for a lot of stuff, including and beyond THS. Sometimes, when the save button or such isn’t visible, I try switching to portrait mode to see whether it becomes visible that way. It’s the digital equivalent of thumping the TV set. Works sometimes, but not consistently.
