What are you watching?

Not all that new but I have been wanting to watch this for a while, and finally got started on it. Excellent cast, direction and writing - I am enjoying S1 so far

That’s spooky @cat.tails We’re staying in a cabin up a track in part of the Alishan Forest in Taiwan, and the lady who owns it has said to watch for pangolins early morning or early evening as they trundle past the back of our hangout. No luck yet but a lot of hopping out of bed whenever there’s a rustle in the trees. #onetowatch

For any Star Wars fans out there, s2 of Andor is on Disney+.

I haven’t started watching the new series yet, but s1 was really good.

Pros and Cons, a Danish crime/thriller about a family of con artists and their cons. Very current - the 2nd season has a plot line with China and Russia seeking control of mineral mining and navigation around Greenland - even a mention of Trump seeking to buy Greenland.
2 seasons, 8 45 minute episodes a season.

On MHZ Choice - an excellent streaming service for international television - mostly crime, police procedurals but some comedy and documentary.

Re-watching Revenge (series) on Disney+. Emily has returned to the Hamptons under an assumed identity to revenge what was done to her father.

Because I liked it the first time and a little bit because I am at a sit and there seems to be no room for a guest account on Netflix (my choice not to use theirs. They have offered). :grinning_face_with_smiling_eyes: So tips on Disney+ welcome.

I really enjoyed Revenge and if I recall correctly, I watched it in real time, back in the day. So spoiled by streaming now, can’t imagine waiting a week for another episode

I’m currently re-watching Little Fires Everywhere on Prime Video.

Starring Reese Witherspoon and Kerry Washington, “Little Fires Everywhere” follows the intertwined fates of the picture-perfect Richardson family and an enigmatic mother and daughter who upset the balance in their lives.

Based on Celeste Ng’s 2017 bestseller, the story explores the weight of secrets, the nature of art and identity, the ferocious pull of motherhood and the danger in believing that following the rules can avert disaster.

Hi @Garfield

Have you seen Only Murders in the Building which is on Disney+?

It’s about three strangers who share an obsession with true crime and suddenly find themselves wrapped up in one!

For UK viewers , there is an amazing channel 4 documentary called ‘Me and the voice in my head’ still available to view on their App.

Comedian/actor/magician Joe Tracini takes us on a journey into his soul to try to explain his struggles with borderline personality disorder.

It’s not an easy watch but does well in explaining how he copes on a day to day basis with dark thoughts constantly running through his mind.

Highly recommended x

The Four Seasons on Netflix starring Steve Carell and Tina Fey, (eight episodes).

The decades-long friendship between three married couples is tested when one divorces, which then complicates their tradition of quarterly weekend getaways.

I see the 1981 film of the same name is available on Netflix (in the US) too.
I’m looking forward to seeing the Four Seasons adaptation!

Dying For Sx definitely recommended (cannot use the actual word Sx for goodness sakes). There will be tears from both laughing and crying. Michelle Williams and Jenny Slate are brilliant.
