What are you watching?

We have loads here in Spain. They have nests they return to high up in electric pylons(!), church towers and tall trees. They aren’t always well received in their nest building endeavors on chimney tops! Some householders deliberately put metal structures to dissuade them from choosing their roof! I love to watch them fly. They feed around our reservoir eating frogs etc. Some migrate but many now remain in Spain all year. The open rubbish tips have been seen as a reason for this choice.

Currently watching Billions but it’s a bit repetitive and predictable however it’s nicely mind numbing. I often fall asleep and miss out big chunks but it doesn’t seem to make a lot of difference! In the current series there’s a bit of S&M dominatrix stuff which I don’t fall asleep during :face_with_peeking_eye:….

I took this video of white storks in Salamanca, Spain. There are many nests that they have built on the city’s historic rooftops, bell towers and cathedrals. Just stunning to watch!

I recently watched The Alien Autopsy Scandal on Sky Documentaries.

In 1995, 18 minutes of grainy film shocked the world which then sparked one of the most compelling mysteries of our time. The so called ‘Alien Autopsy’ footage appeared to show three government officials in hazmat suits dissecting the corpse of an alien recovered from a crash site near Roswell, New Mexico in 1947.

The footage subsequently became an international sensation which captivated film experts and military analysts. However, the question remained: was it genuine, or was it all an elaborate hoax? The truth is far from straight forward.

I watched this and I was not surprised it was all a con. Was thinking this during the 2nd episode and Munchuasen by proxy was in my mind also, maybe as I knew about the syndrome. As for the con as I deeply sceptical of this kind of thing especially when FB is a used.

Shame the mother got away with all she did.

I just wanted Maternal Instinct in Netflix (True Crime) ..THAT was wild!! :scream:

Yes, it was astonishing @jimmysmum

I am currently watching Maximum Pleasure Guaranteed on Apple TV.

Newly divorced mum Paula falls down a rabbit hole of blackmail, murder and youth soccer. She is convinced she witnessed a crime, while struggling through a custody battle and an identity crisis, and begins her own investigation.

Clarkson’s Farm is brilliant!

The third season of House of the Dragon comes out tonight!!! I’ve also gotten totally hooked on Dutton Ranch —I dream of having a man like Beth’s husband. Plus, I’ve started watching the new adaptation of Cape Fear on Apple TV; I’ve even decided to visit Savannah, where it was filmed—I’m heading there in a few days.

The early seasons are good because they realistically portray the New York elite. But later on, it becomes unwatchable—just mindless chatter full of quotes, as if written by some nerdy young screenwriter in L.A. it bears no resemblance to reality, because people with tens of billions don’t talk to each other like that.

Yes we do talk like that actually :winking_face_with_tongue:

personal ordinary life

I think you just didn’t realize the movie is about multi-billionaires, not some broke nobody with a measly million in savings.

Oh I do realise my dear and this is getting funnier by the moment now….

Adolescence and it is really awful; its a train wreck i have to see through, so I can heavily criticize it in its entirety. It is so shameful media companies buy “awards” for actors and shows who truly don’t deserve them.

If you’re referring to the British mini series in Netflix, I beg to differ. I think it raises some concerns many people aren’t aware of. Of course, it’s not an easy watch but IMHO it’s good.

A 2 week sit in Occidental, CA in the woods (fortunately not too dry and not much wind so fire risk is low).

One Day - a 20 year long love story in 14 30-40 minute episodes. Surprised that I enjoyed it as much as I did. Interesting character development by both leads. From a 2004 novel by David Nichols and a 2010 movie.

3 Body Problem - an 8 episode exisential threat to humanity. Doesn’t get solved by the end of the first season and it has been renewed.

World Cup!

Wimbledon :tennis:

Is anyone else enjoying the tennis?
