iPhones actually don’t have a setting to disable automatic downloads of apps themselves. There is, however, a way to control automatic downloads of app updates:-
- Open the Settings app on your iPhone.
- Tap on App Store.
- Find the section titled “Automatic Downloads”.
- You’ll see options for automatic downloads of Music, Apps, Books & Audiobooks, and Updates.
- To disable automatic downloads of app updates, toggle the switch for App Updates to the off (white) position.
With this setting off, your iPhone won’t automatically download and install app updates in the background. You’ll still be notified about available updates, and you can manually download them through the App Store app whenever you choose.
If you have problem persist after trying these step, follow more instruction below.
